Sits right on the lake, and the manager goes above and beyond to make guests feel comfortable. He is very nice And the rooms are clean and nice. The back of the hotel has teather ball, and fire pit, right up the street is a marina to put your toys in the water. Location is great!

Great lodge for the practical. The rooms are immaculate, everything you’d need for an extended stay. The lodge Manager is personal and available - you can call and actually speak with him! There are yard activities available like volleyball and horseshoes (and no, you don’t have to pay extra!). It’s a fine retreat and I hope it stays ‘west’ and doesn’t go with the Vail Resorts model, can’t drive through the Winter Park eyesore and craziness to get here fast enough.
